I would say Hell Yes!
But I am a massage therapist so I might be a little biased.
Massage feels amazing, no argument there.
I feel it is an essential part of my health care. I think of massage therapy for myself in terms of maintenance and prevention. I don’t think people realize all of the benefits of massage therapy besides the fact that it just plain feels good.
So here we go, lots of other reasons that you might want to consider making a massage a more “regular” part of your world.
The American Massage Therapy Association has this great list of 25 reasons to get a massage!
I would also add
- Helps with digestive disorders
- Prenatal and postpartum care
- Restores balance and harmony to the Chakra system
- Immune system support
- Helps balance emotions
The list goes on and on…
So the next question is…what are you waiting for?
